Abstract
The article outlined the basic scientific dominants in the creative heritage of Academician Volodymyr Hryhorovych Kuz, a world-renowned teacher and scientist, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, full member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The fundamental scientific directions of the scientist are substantiated. It is emphasized that Kuz Volodymyr Hryhorovych is the founder of a modern scientific and pedagogical school on the problems of professional training of specialists for rural schools, governors, the initiator of the creation of educational complexes «Preschool educational institution – comprehensive educational institution». It was established that the fundamental scientific dominants of the famous scientist and teacher were folk pedagogy as the basis of national education, pedagogical foundations of the functioning of the educational and educational process, peculiarities of national education, native language as the basis of national education, nurturing of the modern intellectual elite, education of preschool and school children age in the «School Kindergarten» complex, implementation of the ideas of reviving spirituality in general education and preschool institutions. It was found out that the famous teacher attached great importance to family education as a native school, national-patriotic education, Sukhomlinistics as a new paradigm of elite education, as well as the training of rural school teachers, education of students in the peaceful traditions of the native land, problems of organizing independent cognitive activities of schoolchildren, unity of the school and extracurricular education, Ukrainian folk children's games. It was revealed that the scientist attached great importance to the integration of education and science, the cooperation of the higher education institution with scientific institutions, educational and preschool institutions, as well as the primary link of the school as a single system of continuous education and upbringing of children.
