Abstract
The frequency analysis of the survey shows that Ukrainians are most often motivated to adhere to a healthy lifestyle during the war by both actual signs of deteriorating health, and the pursuit of the goal of living a full life and awareness of the destructive impact of chronic stress. The most significant barriers to adhering to a healthy lifestyle are the lack of material resources, unfavorable environmental conditions, unfavorable emotional state, or stable psychological characteristics. Quite a few Ukrainians believe that they have no difficulties with a healthy lifestyle, which may indicate a certain denial. However, a significant proportion of Ukrainians admit to difficulties with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, particularly, concerning work and rest regimes, rational nutrition, physical activity, quitting smoking, and sleep hygiene.
