Abstract

The impact of the «green transition» on sustainable development in professional education in the countries of the European Union is studied. Achieving the goals of the «green transition» should lead to major changes in the economy (creating a «circular economy»), technology, production, services, consumption and investment, which require special qualifications and special skills of workers. In vocational education and training, the «green transition» means the development of «circular economy» skills» and the formation of a new systemic thinking.
