Abstract

Methodological recommendations were deloped in a set with the methodological manual "Formation of digital competencies in children's public associations: a practical toolkit". These recommendations are based on the results of an applied scientific study conducted by Laboratory of Moral, Civic and Intercultural Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Education of a value-based attitude to communications in a digital open environment in children's public associations" (2022-2024). The recommendations address the development of a value-based attitude towards communications in a digital open environment. They define and explore the concepts of "value-based communication" and "communicative competence" while analyzing their impact on the overall and creative development of growing individuals. The document provides an overview of useful digital educational resources for pedagogical work, discusses the security aspects of the digital environment, and examines international practices in fostering a value-based attitude toward communication. It is intended for coordinators and leaders of children's public organizations and associations, researchers, students of higher pedagogical education institutions, general secondary and extracurricular education educators, youth workers, and teachers in recreation and health facilities.
