Abstract
The preprint contains analytical materials on the self-assessment of teachers' digital competence, as well as the results of the all-Ukrainian survey of teachers in 2023 and 2024, which highlight their attitude to the use of digital tools for teaching. An overview of international framework documents related to digital competence is provided. The vision of teachers' competence in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is highlighted and an example of teachers' self-assessment of the use of AI, virtual and augmented reality in the implementation of STE(A)M projects is provided. Theoretical approaches and practical experience in organizing a teacher survey are described. Proposals are highlighted in the direction of digitalization of education and development of teachers' digital competence, increasing their professional level. Theoretical approaches and practical developments in the use of ICT in professional education and in improving the qualifications of teachers are described. For teachers, scientists, managers, lecturers, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, students, and the general pedagogical community.
