Abstract
The methodological guidelines explore the theory of Ukrainian and international approaches to evaluating the quality of preschool education and substantiate the necessity of a comprehensive assessment of education quality in preschool institutions. The authors present a diagnostic toolkit for assessing the quality of education for early childhood and preschool-aged children based on a competency-based approach. This includes a comprehensive methodology for diagnosing the state of education quality in preschools, evaluating educators' readiness to organize a developmental educational environment, and assessing the levels of personal development of preschool-aged children.
