Abstract
The monograph is dedicated to the theoretical and methodological foundations of ensuring the quality of education for early childhood and preschool children. Based on the conducted scientific research, conceptual foundations are outlined that reveal approaches to improving the quality of the educational process at both the state and regional levels. The content of the key concepts of the study — "quality of education" and "quality of education for early childhood and preschool children"—is elaborated. The monograph systematically presents research on the quality of preschool education, which includes addressing a set of issues such as: clarifying the essence of the fundamental concepts of education quality (its definition, structural components, properties, criteria, standards, etc.); defining procedures and indicators for evaluating the quality of education (including the educational process, its outcomes, and functional systems); conducting monitoring and making management decisions to ensure compliance with established education quality standards at all levels. The peculiarities of the quality assurance system in preschools of various types are disclosed. The monograph is recommended for researchers, educators, students of higher education institutions specializing in pedagogy, and teaching staff of preschool education institutions.
