Abstract
The methodological manual considers the issue of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of children with special educational needs (SEN) in the conditions of functioning and interaction of various forms of their education. The differentiation of the development of children with SEN is advocated on the basis of a single, scientifically substantiated psychological and pedagogical diagnosis for all forms of education, and not the level of support in the educational process. The differences between psychological and pedagogical and medical diagnoses are shown and the inadmissibility of the latter in staffing the contingent of special education institutions is emphasized. The productivity of domestic principles of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of children with SEN and their combination with known test methods are emphasized. Methodological issues of the content and organization of the process of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the intellectual, speech, emotional-volitional and personal development of children with SEN are considered. Special attention is paid to methodological issues of constructing a diagnostic conclusion as a document on the basis of which the psychological and pedagogical support of the child is carried out depending on the chosen form of education and the methodological and methodological principles of the educational process inherent in it. The issues covered in the manual may be of interest, first of all, to IRC specialists, methodologists, practical psychologists and teachers working in the system of inclusive and special education, students of the relevant specialization, and parents.
