Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the development of the lexical side of speech in children with special educational needs. The stages of development and formation of the lexical side of speech in preschool children are presented and the main manifestations of vocabulary formation disorders are identified. The main directions of formation of the lexical side of speech are outlined, which will ensure the expansion of vocabulary and contribute to the clarification and differentiation of lexical meanings of words, the formation of different levels of lexical generalizations expressed by the word, as well as the formation of lexical systematicity.
