Abstract

The article outlines the main legislative initiatives of Ukraine in the field of school education in the context of development and support of European integration processes. It is noted that Ukraine’s obtaining the status of a candidate for EU membership intensifies the European integration of national education, opens up new opportunities for participants in the educational process, etc. It is concluded that Ukraine, on its way to integration into the European Education Area, needs to harmonize its legislation, bring it in line with European standards and norms, and further modernize its educational system.
