Abstract
The monograph provides the theoretical analysis the problem of adult learning theory and practice in formal and non-formal education. The first section presents the results of the scholars' research on the following issues: the definitive analysis of adult learning technologies in formal and non-formal education in the pedagogical theory discourse; conducting the diagnostics of teaching staff professional competence regarding the use of the educational technologies in formal and non-formal education; substantiation of the methodological approaches to the formation of teaching staff professional competence in the system of postgraduate education; the analysis of modern paradigm the post non-classical science as a methodological basis for future teachers' multicultural education; the research of the theoretical foundations of formation and development the national scientific-pedagogical schools in the dimensions of non-formal education; identifying the continuous learning methodological guidelines of the philologist -folklorists; the submission of the theoretical generalizations the problem of the museum pedagogy development in the Ukraine, as well as the development of the language-communication competence of the philological teacher in the context of Ukrainian and foreign theory. The second section covers the practically oriented principles of adult education in formal and non-formal education, that is specified in the process of introducing the technology of train the Doctors of Philosophy in the field of "Educational, Pedagogical Sciences"; the practical measurement of the development the future military officers' linguistic competence; identifying opportunities of using ethno-musicological experience by teachers in the school setting, as well as the potential of museum pedagogy in the context of non-formal education, the achievements of scientific-pedagogical schools in educational practice. The monograph is addressed to teachers of higher education institutions of pedagogical and military direction, teachers of humanities, cultural, art disciplines, future doctors of philosophy of pedagogical profession, teachers of general educational institutions, methodologists of the postgraduate education institutions, coachers in adult learning.
