Abstract
The study highlights the necessity of adapting the employment system to new challenges and defining strategic directions for the development of the labor market. In particular, the factors affecting labor supply and demand, methods of forecasting structural changes in the employment sphere, as well as the role of education and personnel training in ensuring compliance of qualifications with modern requirements are analyzed. Special attention is paid to sectors of the economy that have the potential for growth, the introduction of innovative technologies and the reintegration of internally displaced persons into labor processes. The work offers methodical approaches to the construction of forecasting models based on the analysis of economic and social trends, international experience and specific conditions of Ukraine.
