Abstract

The textbook was created in accordance with the State Standard of Basic and Complete General Secondary Education and the current (updated) educational program for history for general secondary education institutions. The content of the textbook will help students make a clear idea of ​​the history of the Middle Ages, teach to work creatively, determine their attitude to historical events and figures. The methodological apparatus of the textbook is based on the requirements of the competent approach to learning, which enables the teacher to differentiate work with students, provides their independent research. The content and in the textbook the technique allows to fully implement cross -curricular and subject content lines. The textual and extraordinary components of the textbook are aimed at forming historical thinking, key and subject competences of students.
