Abstract
The article defines the relevance of the socio-pedagogical problem of preventing and overcoming violence against children; the phenomenon of violence is revealed from the point of view of psychological, sociological and anthropological approaches. It is emphasized that violence, cruelty and aggression, their types and causes are interpreted by representatives of different scientific schools according to the point of view from which they consider these formations of human existence. The possibility of mutual interweaving of two types of aggression during the manifestation of domestic violence – "as an emotional goal of harming another» and as «a means of achieving a certain other goal" is emphasized. The essence of child abuse is revealed, which is presented as a broader concept that includes violence, aggressive actions and all other forms of treatment of children that degrade their human dignity, violate rights and do not satisfy at least basic needs. In the article, the problem of cruel treatment of children and violence against them is revealed through the prism of social significance for society. The content of the main types of violence in the family against the child is listed and revealed, including psychological, sexual, economic, physical, and the differences between domestic violence and others are substantiated. The factors due to which parents in dysfunctional families can show a cruel attitude towards their children and their systematic violence are characterized. The need for qualified assistance to children who have become victims of domestic violence, specialists in the field of social work, social pedagogues, psychologists, etc. has been proven. Social protection of such children is presented in the article as a complete system of social prevention, which is based on clearly formulated principles and legal acts. The possibilities and expediency of social prevention of violence against children in dysfunctional families are substantiated; the content and purpose of its three levels: primary, secondary and tertiary are revealed. Resources for the development and improvement of preventive activities related to the prevention of family violence are outlined. Conclusions were made that the effectiveness of preventive measures for the prevention of child abuse, overcoming the consequences of domestic violence in dysfunctional families will be facilitated by a number of measures, the key of which are: consultation and crisis social-psychological assistance for all family members, implementation of family legal education programs, popularization of healthy family values, strengthening of spiritual and moral principles of family functioning and expansion of the list of educational activities in educational institutions.
