Abstract

The article outlines the contradictions in the functioning of the military education system, the actual problems of professional development of teachers in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education, the pedagogical conditions for the formation and development of professional competence of teachers of higher military educational institutions, internal and external factors of professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff, modern models of professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff, which are actively implemented in higher education institutions and can be used in higher military educational institutions.
