Abstract

The article considers values ​​as key forms of social expectations of Ukrainian youth in conditions of total uncertainty. Attention is paid to changes in the value orientations of young people due to the impact of war, socio-economic instability and their ability to adapt to new realities. The author analyzes sociological data that show the aspirations of Ukrainians for professional development, self-realization, preservation of social stability, as well as new career priorities that are formed under the influence of forced mobility. The work focuses on the role of social expectations as a tool for self-identification and social development. The importance of human rights, peace, and the value of human life as priorities of modern youth is emphasized. The conclusions emphasize the need for continuous research into the dynamics of changes in social expectations for a better understanding of the prospects for the development of society.
