Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of cultural codes as markers of national identity. The concept of cultural code is considered within the framework of semiotic theories, the types of cultural codes are determined and their components are distinguished. The authors propose to carry out the actualization of the cultural codes of the nation in the educational space in an indirect way using the methods of project-oriented learning, modern interactive methods (web quest), and methods of visual semantics.
