Abstract

The article analyzes current tendencies and trends in the field of professional education. The main tendencies and trends in the field of professional education revealed as a result of the questionnaire, which are faced by pedagogical workers in the process of technology transfer and formation of modern skills of future qualified workers, are characterized. It is noted that vocational education plays an important role in the formation of human capital and the development of the country's economy, the functions of vocational education are now being re-evaluated taking into account the needs of the country's post-war reconstruction. The author emphasizes that the modernization of the professional education system is the key to the successful training of professionals who possess the skills required in the labor market. The article analyzes the results of the conducted pilot study, which provided for the assessment of the needs of vocational education institutions in modern technologies, and the determination of directions for the development of vocational education institutions. It is noted that the most popular trends, programs or initiatives implemented by teachers to support the development of modern skills among students are aimed at the development of digital competences, the formation of soft and hard skills; implementation of digitization of education, use of educational platforms, interaction with employers. Key trends in the field of professional education include: digitalization, andragogy, soft skills, partnership with employers. Based on the results of the survey, it is predicted to determine which aspects and areas of professional education need to be improved in order to prepare competitive graduates capable of working in modern enterprises. Cooperation with pedagogical workers will make it possible to take into account their requests and needs as much as possible, to update the methods of professional training of future qualified workers and to develop effective tools for increasing the level of professional pedagogical competence in the aspect of training graduates taking into account the needs of the labor market, to update and improve educational programs.
