Abstract
The educational process in secondary education institutions is undergoing constant transformation, adapting to the realities of wartime. The difficulties of organizing education in different regions of Ukraine during the war, the problems of children's adaptation abroad, and different systems of social relationships require updating approaches to the educational process, finding effective means of compensating for pupils' educational losses. For almost three years, several attempts have been made to monitor pupils' educational losses in wartime and their results have been presented. At the same time, attempts were made to find measures that would help slow down these negative processes. To compensate for pupils' educational losses in wartime, it is important to use accessible educational tools that ensure the stability of the educational process and support an individual approach. It can be assumed that, given pupils' access to educational tools, in particular a school textbook, effective work with it will contribute to adapting the educational process to the individual needs of children, which, in turn, will ensure the quality of education and help overcome educational losses.
