Abstract
The article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of the peculiarities of implementing project activities in preschoolers' environmental education. To achieve this goal, a number of tasks have been identified: 1. To substantiate the importance of project activities in the environmental education of preschoolers. 2. To highlight the features of the use of project activities. 3. To develop a structural and functional model for the implementation of project activities in the environmental education of preschoolers. 4. To develop an algorithm for the introduction and implementation of project activities in the environmental education of preschoolers. To achieve the goal and objectives, the following methods were used: comparative and analytical, structural and logical, systemic, pedagogical modeling, generalization of pedagogical experience. Results. The importance of project activities in the environmental education of preschoolers is substantiated. The features of the use of project technologies in the environmental education of preschoolers are highlighted, in particular: integration of different types of activities, updating practical experience, use of the game form, cooperation of children with each other and with adults, flexibility of forms and methods of teaching, variability of tasks, activation of research skills. A structural and functional model of the introduction of project technologies in the process of environmental education of preschoolers has been created and approaches to project activities have been identified (integration, activity, problem- search, creative, project-research, personality-oriented, game, social-partnership) The main stages of the introduction of project technologies in preschool education institutions have been identified and characterized, namely: organizational and preparatory, activity-implementation, analytical and evaluation. The stages of implementation of project activities in the environmental education of preschoolers are defined: planning, information and research, creative and presentation, reflective, which involve the creation and implementation of the project, as well as the presentation of research results. Examples of interesting environmental projects for preschoolers are given. It is summarized that project activity is an effective technology for environmental education of preschoolers, which helps not only to impart knowledge about nature to children but also develops their practical skills of responsible attitude to the environment.
