Abstract
This article examines the role of electronic social networks (ESN) in the development of digital competence among researchers and academic staff. In the context of rapid digitalization of the educational environment, electronic platforms are becoming essential tools for professional development, knowledge exchange, and collaborative work. The advantages of using social networks for communication among scientists, sharing experiences, and creating interest-based communities are analyzed. Special attention is given to the impact of these platforms on the formation of new skills necessary for successful activity in the modern scientific environment. The research confirms that active participation in electronic social networks not only enhances digital literacy but also strengthens professional connections, which are critical for the development of a scientific career.
