Abstract
The monograph is aimed at presenting the results of research on the development of personal life competence under conditions of martial law, understood as the ability to independently identify and solve pressing life challenges. This competence constitutes significant prerequisites for productive self-realization, adaptability, and survival in the rapidly changing conditions of the present day. The relevance of examining this issue through the lens of a psycho-hermeneutic approach is substantiated. The study characterizes the main socio-cultural contexts of personal life competence development; a process-meaning model, mechanisms, patterns, and narrative technologies of its development; as well as the dynamics of personal life challenges and strategies for their resolution during wartime. The monograph also considers the specific features of life competence development among youth, adults, and the elderly—including educators, volunteers, and AI technology users—under conditions of full-scale war, which provides a strong foundation for promoting its development in the post-war period. The work is intended for both academic psychologists and practitioners, including university lecturers, counseling psychologists, teachers, graduate students, students, and leaders of institutions and organizations who are interested in understanding and actively applying practices to develop personal life competence in wartime conditions. The monograph is addressed to both researchers in psychology and practitioners – university lecturers, counseling psychologists, teachers, postgraduates, students, as well as heads of institutions and organizations interested in understanding and actively applying practices for the development of personal life competence under wartime conditions.
