Abstract
The report presents the interim results of the applied research «Psychological Support for the professional Activities of Teachers in the Context of World Changes», which is carried out at the Ivan Zіazіun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The problem of psychological support of teachers' professional activities in wartime is a difficult one to study, which became the basis for the use of various methods of experimental work: diagnostic interviews, observations and self-assessment methods. Among others, various tools and techniques were used, such as the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), Depression Inventory (BDI), Wiesbaden WIPPF questionnaire. The main results of the study showed that the majority of the teachers studied reveal signs of depression, anxiety and panic attacks that require psychological support aimed at restoring personal integrity and psychological health using positive psychotherapy. The practical significance of the study is determined by the applied aspect of its results to ensure the preservation of the psychological health and integrity of teachers' personalities as well as to reduce the overall emotional stress and increase the personal resilience. The results of the study can be used in complex psychotherapeutic work in the methods of positive psychotherapy and hypnotherapy; group training in methods of mental self-regulation, psychological self-help. It can also be useful for workers of auxiliary professions in working with people affected by war.
