Abstract
The model training program on labor training for grades 5-10 of basic secondary education is aimed at the formation of professional and labor competence, the development of the personality of students and preparation for successful professional and labor activities. The program is built on the principle of continuity of technological education, which is provided consistently: - at the stage of the adaptation cycle (grades 5-6), which focuses the educational process on the development of natural abilities, interests and the formation of children with intellectual disabilities, the competencies necessary for their socialization; - at the stage of the cycle of basic subject education (grades 7-10 (11)), which enables the further development of children with intellectual disabilities and, on the basis of the competences formed in them, creates opportunities for them to choose a further life path and self-realization. Successful completion of a full course of study (grades 5-11), defined by the Program, provides for the possibility of continuing education at the level of specialized education or acquiring the professions of sewing industry "seamstress", "tailor", "embroiderer". The proposed content of the educational material of the "Sewing" program of each direction ensures that students acquire technical and technological knowledge and labor operations related to sewing as a type of work and the basis of the profession. Special attention is paid to socio-labor adaptation and socialization of students with intellectual disabilities, providing an individual approach and special pedagogical guidance. Training is based on a corrective and developmental orientation, a differentiated approach. The program emphasizes the importance of constant repetition and consolidation of practical knowledge for effective assimilation of educational material.
