Abstract

Physical culture of the basic secondary level of education is a powerful means of harmonious development, compensation and correction of impaired and underdeveloped psychophysical functions of schoolchildren with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, which creates the necessary prerequisites for their optimal habilitation and social adaptation in society. The work on the model program for physical education was based, first of all, on the humanization of the educational process, the individualization of learning and upbringing, the orientation of the educational process on the health formation and health preservation of schoolchildren with intellectual development disorders.
