Abstract

The importance and necessity of considering the technological and procedural aspects of teaching Ukrainian as a state language is substantiated with regard to the modern conditions. The requirements and conditions of studying Ukrainian as a state language in accordance with the current legislation are analyzed; peculiarities of the realization of teaching Ukrainian with the consideration of multilingualism, in particular, the language of teaching, in Ukraine is clarified. The components of the technological and procedural aspect, the ways of their realization in the process of teaching Ukrainian as a state language are described. Attention is focused on the forms of teaching, learning activities and their differentiation. The nature of the term “pedagogical technology” is examined, as are the characteristics and components of pedagogical technologies. The importance of refusing the passive model of learning is emphasized, which suggests communication, interaction, mutual assistance and peer instruction. The interactive technologies useful for the application throughout the process of teaching Ukrainian as a state language are distinguished. The appropriateness of taking into account specifics and differences between pair and group learning activities is noted. The variability of pair learning models is described in detail, the basis of which is either the absence or presence, different proportion of cooperative activities and / or mutual assistance; the mechanism of group work; the conditions, adherence to which is necessary for the effective students’ group work. Some attention is paid to the consideration of learning Ukrainian in the context of the development of critical thinking skills, relevant peculiarities and positive effect, as well as technologies of critical thinking. The essence and specifics of the application of the author's consistent and symmetrical work technology with learning texts are described. Examples of projects which are possible to realize in teaching Ukrainian as a state language are provided, as well as ways and peculiarities of the application of level differentiation, which take into account students’ individual characteristics. The specifics of technological and procedural aspects of teaching Ukrainian as a state language with the consideration of multilingualism are outlined.
