Abstract

The article examines the possibilities of diagnosis and preventive psychological correction of maladaptive thinking. It is shown that maladaptive thinking contributes to the formation of a dysfunctional picture of the world and the development of various deviations in human behavior. It was determined that the adaptive potential of thinking can be increased with the help of complex preventive psychological influence. Psychological influence must be directed at maladaptive thoughts and beliefs, as well as a dysfunctional picture of the world. It was established that the correction of the dysfunctional picture of the world includes: elimination of information gaps; hierarchical coordination of basic assessment systems; neutralization of pathogenic cognitive processes; formation of motivating goals; restoration of the general energy balance of mental processes. When implementing preventive psychological influence, the entire work process can be divided into five stages: situational stabilization, diagnostic probing, information accumulation, confrontational destabilization, adaptive transformation. The specific mechanisms of psychological influence should include - adaptogenic understanding and spontaneous fixation of adaptive behavioral patterns. Prevention of personality development deviations should include a complex of methods of psychological influence, in particular: establishing contact with reality, modeling the desired future, stimulating creativity, checking motivating inferences, working with psychological hypotheses, psychocorrective instructions, provocation of physiological and psychological stress, preventive regime influence, psychocorrective confrontational suggestion , psychocorrective journey alone. It can be stated that the prevention of personality development deviations is a complex and multimodal psychological influence with a mandatory increase in the general adaptability of a person's thinking.
