Abstract

The article reveals the problem of developing a personal brand of pedagogical workers. The study was carried out within the scope of the research work of the Department of Philosophy and Adult Education of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education of the SIHE "UEM" on the topic "Theoretical and methodological foundations of the professional development of pedagogical and research-pedagogical workers in the conditions of an open university of postgraduate education" (state registration number 0120 Ư104637 (2020–2025 yr.)). A survey was conducted among students of advanced training courses in the category "Managers, newly appointed managers and consultants of professional development centers of pedagogical workers" in order to study the problem of developing the personal brand of pedagogical workers in May 2024 according to the proposed questionnaire created in Google Form. As part of the study of the special course "Development of the personal brand of pedagogical workers", 30 teaching staff took part in the survey: by gender: 90% women, 10% men; by position: directors of centers for professional development of pedagogical workers - 26.7%, consultants of centers for professional development of pedagogical workers - 73.3%; by age: under 30 years – 6.7%, 31-40 years – 20%, 41-50 years – 33.3%, over 50 years – 40%; by length of teaching experience: 0-3 years – 6.7%, 4-10 years – 10%, 11-20 years – 20%, over 20 years – 63.3%; by regions: Zakarpattia - 23.3%, Chernivtsi - 16.7%, Sumy - 16.7%, Ternopil - 10%, Kyiv - 10%, Poltava - 6.7%, Volyn - 6.7%, Luhansk - 3.3%, Zhytomyr - 3.3%, Chernihiv - 3.3%. The conducted research made it possible to draw conclusions that the development of a personal brand is important and significant for those pedagogical workers who seek to establish themselves as experts or authorities in the field of education.
