Abstract

The thesis describes the approach to the use of active methods of teaching history, which are built around the work of students with various sources and the formation of their cognitive independence in the search, selection, analysis and evaluation of historical sources. This allows not only to improve the historical knowledge of students, but also to develop their competencies and historical and critical thinking.
