Abstract
In today’s world of hi-tech changes and continuous development of educational systems, psychological and pedagogical aspects of foreign language acquisition are coming to the fore. This underlines the importance of developing effective learning strategies for higher education students. In the context of understanding and addressing the psychological and pedagogical challenges that arise in the learning process, the issue of strategizing foreign language teaching is becoming a key issue. The central link in this problem is the conceptual and categorical field. It combines theoretical aspects and practical dimensions of strategic preparation of students for foreign language communication. The understanding and definition of key concepts in this context determines not only approaches to foreign language teaching, but also contributes to the formation of students’ responsible attitude to their own learning and development of language competence. There is an important social and cultural dimension to the psychological and educational aspects of this issue. It is becoming a necessity for a modern university graduate to develop intercultural competence and the ability to communicate effectively in different cultural environments. This requires considering the peculiarities of cultural adaptation and mutual understanding as an important aspect of integrating language training into the overall learning process. In this context, the aim of our work is to study, analyse and develop optimal approaches to the strategic planning of language training for higher education students. Our aim is to identify the key components of the successful implementation of strategies that will contribute not only to the development of sustainable language competence but also to the broadening of horizons of intercultural understanding and global education. It is hoped that the research will make a significant contribution to the development of pedagogical approaches, provide a resource for educators and researchers working in higher education, and contribute to the creation of conditions for the effective development of students’ language and intercultural competence in the contemporary global environment.
