Abstract
The article examines the essence of scientific and pedagogical staff’s readiness to create a project team. Emphasis is placed on current trends in educational reform and the growing significance of the project-based approach to conducting scientific research. It is noted that, in this context, it is important for scientific and pedagogical staff to develop the skills necessary to create project teams for the development and implementation of projects in the fields of education and science. The article reveals ways to enhance the effectiveness, productivity, innovativeness, and competitiveness of project team activities. The essential features and conditions for the successful functioning of a project team are highlighted. The principles of formation and functioning of scientific and pedagogical project teams are considered, and the stages of their development are studied. The importance of considering the personal qualities of scientific and pedagogical staff during the formation of a project team is emphasized. The main problems faced by scientific and pedagogical staff during teamwork are identified. It is stressed that the formation of the role structure of a scientific and pedagogical project team should be based on a scientifically grounded selection of roles that are value-acceptable for each member. It is indicated that, when forming a team, it is important to know the psychological characteristics of its potential members to ensure a high level of interpersonal compatibility. The characteristics of the leader of a scientific and pedagogical project team are outlined. The list of team roles is considered and characterized. Problems that arise in the organization of team work and their consequences are identified. A list of measures that will help establish good relations among the members of the scientific and pedagogical project team is provided. The criteria for evaluating team performance that are subject to monitoring are indicated.
