Abstract

The author focuses on the fact that the values ​​that dominate society have a powerful influence on the value system of young people. They reflect the essence and level of maturity of civil society as a whole. Each individual community and individual collective, professional community has its own system of values, which affects the level of development of culture, social institutions - education, family, health care, etc. But there is also a reverse influence - the influence of the individual on value orientations in the team, community, society. Therefore, educational institutions should strengthen their role and authority in the development of the value system of future citizens and professionals, using all available mechanisms for this.
