Abstract
This article analyzes the state of the educational and methodological support of the new educational subject «Technology», which is gradually being introduced in the gymnasiums of Ukraine, and defines the requirements for designing educational programs and textbooks for the subject learning cycle. The model curricula for the subject learning cycle in the technological educational field, created in accordance with the basic provisions of the concept of the New Ukrainian School and the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education, are compared. The differences between current model curricula and educational programs on the subject «Technology» are explained. Recommendations are given for the development of educational programs and other educational and methodological support on the basis of normative documents related to the technological educational field. The structure, content and methodical apparatus of the technology textbooks for 5th, 6th and 7th grades, prepared by various author teams, are revealed. The content of new technology textbooks is analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of the new technology textbooks are determined, as well as their compliance with model curricula and requirements for educational literature. The problems of curriculum development and the creation of a new generation of textbooks for the technological educational field are investigated and ways of solving them are proposed. The content of project-technological activities of students in grades 7-9 is specified. The requirements for the educational project on technologies are revealed. The possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the process of preparing the content of technology textbooks are determined. The prospects of designing and publishing modern textbooks for technological education of students are outlined.
