Abstract

The Concept outlines the directions of activities of various social institutions responsible for the education of children of early and preschool age in accordance with modern challenges and problems of preschool education; the subjects of the preschool education system, the mission and vision of the education of early and preschool children are defined. The necessity of: developing a network of preschool education institutions of state and private forms of ownership was emphasized; stimulation of parental partnership; ensuring the quality of preschool education, determining criteria for monitoring the quality of preschool education; raising the social status of pedagogical workers of preschool education institutions; development of professional competence of pedagogical workers as a condition for quality preschool education; scientific support for the education of children of early and preschool age. The risks associated with the implementation of the Concept are characterized.
