Abstract
The article reveals the relevance of the problem of providing an integral continuous methodical system of labor an d professional training of students with intellectual disabilities in educational institutions. Attention is focused on determining the readiness of students with intellectual disabilities for work, which is of particular importance in the context of their socialization, adaptation and integration into society. Labor an d professional training is considered as a necessary condition for personal development of children with intellectual disorders and preparation for independent living in society. A substantiated methodical system of labor an d professional training of children with intellectual disabilities is presented. Іt is based on modern approaches to the theory and practice of labor training of students and takes into account the educational innovations of the concept of the New Ukrainian School. The author's model of methodical system of labor and professional training of students with intellectual disorders was developed that was built as a result of a coordinated combination of educational goals, content, methods, means and forms of organization, technologies, and provided the following components: target, methodological, organizational and pedagogical, content-procedural and effective blocks. At the same time, the target block is substantiated by the leading trends in the development of modern education that led to the formulation of goals and objectives; methodological is provided with philosophical, general pedagogical and didactic-methodical levels; organizational and pedagogical contains pedagogical conditions for ensuring an effective process of correctional labor training of students in a special institution in order to prepare students for subject-practical and professional-labor activities. The content-procedural block is an important basis of the experimental model that is implemented in curricula, textbooks, manuals based on the implementation of a holistic step-by-step pedagogical technology of labor and professional training using a system of general pedagogical and special methods of teacher-student interaction. The effective block provides a comprehensive assessment of student achievement at each stage of labor and professional training, the implementation of systematic monitoring of student performance and determining the effectiveness of the developed system. It is established that the effectiveness and completeness of the methodological system of labor an d professional training of students depends on taking into account the pedagogical foundations of its provision: the content of the stages of labor training, development indicators and expected results in each of them; features of children's development, the subject of influence; selection of pedagogical means adequate to the specified process – content, methods and organizational forms. Attention is focused on the perspective of further research on the outlined issues.
