Abstract

The book is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding scientist, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Full Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (Academician), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, a well-known scientist - a specialist in the field of general pedagogy and methods of teaching physics, a talented Scientist, a wise Teacher - Semen Ustymovych Honcharenko (09.06.1928 - 07.04.2013). The book visualizes the memories of his students, colleagues, and friends, and highlights certain aspects of the teacher's scientific and methodological heritage. The publication is addressed to scientists, doctoral students, postgraduate students, researchers and pedagogical staff of higher, vocational (professional) education institutions, general education institutions, and all those interested in the scientific and pedagogical heritage of Academician Semen Ustymovych Honcharenko, issues of pedagogical methodology, biographical, phenomenological approaches in pedagogy, as well as problems of professional and personal development of adults, humanization of school education, and methods of teaching physics in secondary school.
