Abstract
The relevance of the ecological paradigm in the polyparadigmatic educational space is challenged the complexity of the global ecosystem and the needs of society for specialists with the ability to be creative solving problems, harmonizing economic activity with a sustainable environment. Goal research consists in determining the contradictions that determine the introduction of ecological paradigms in the educational process, its structure, approaches and principles of environmental management education In the process of theoretical and methodological research of the ecological paradigm in the educational process used theoretical methods (analysis and synthesis, idealization, abstraction, analogy, extrapolation, generalization, systematic approach, systematization) and empirical research (data analysis of literary sources). Methods of theoretical and empirical research was used to understand the essence of the concept of "ecological paradigm", "environmental competence of the learner"; study and generalization of them characteristics; generalization of the main trends in the training of specialists with higher education.
