Abstract
The article is devoted to the search for effective ways of researching the problem of pedagogical support of gifted children in the educational space of scientific education institutions. The content of the concepts “pedagogical support”, “scientific education”, “giftedness” and “gifted children” was studied. Various approaches to the determination of giftedness, stages, features and main areas of work of pedagogical support of gifted students are defined. The relevance of the material presented in the article is determined by the fact that gifted children need special support and support, special, individual training programs in the process of scientific education. It is summarized that the identification and development of gifted children, the creation of conditions for the development of their scientific thinking is an important direction of the modernization of the education system in Ukraine at the current stage and its post-war recovery. It was found that scientists define different approaches to the definition of giftedness: an approach based on the results of achievements; approach based on potential; component approach, which considers giftedness as a complex combination of different factors, such as intelligence, creativity, motivation, etc. These approaches can be used separately or combined to comprehensively determine the giftedness of students. It is shown that in order to diagnose the giftedness of students, a whole range of research methods is used, and for the development of children's intellectual and creative abilities, methods, techniques and learning technologies are introduced into the educational process. It is noted that one of the modern trends in the field of education of gifted students, where there are optimal conditions for the development and manifestation of their individual abilities, is scientific education, which is aimed at the development of critical thinking, creative abilities, research skills and interest in science and plays a key role in stimulating intellectual development, development of creativity and research approach, social development, preparation for a scientific career, development of critical thinking. It was concluded that pedagogical support for the scientific education of gifted students is a complex system of measures aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of their abilities, scientific thinking, research skills, creative potential, self-realization and social adaptation.
