Abstract

The need to select applicants for STEAM-oriented training is determined considering the type of activity, the format of training and the age of the children involved. It is important to consider the level of knowledge in certain disciplines, as well as the level of motivation of teenagers or the level of interest and research potential of younger schoolchildren or preschoolers. The need to establish the level of knowledge in certain disciplines for participation in certain STEAM-projects for teenagers is substantiated. The importance of thorough knowledge of basic disciplines is argued. An example of a project that demonstrates the practical application of knowledge from specific basic disciplines. The need for subject knowledge for the effective implementation of the STEAM-direction is substantiated. The level of knowledge in basic disciplines should be considered when implementing STEAM-activities for children of teenage age and older. STEAM-direction for preschoolers and junior high school students can perform a propaedeutic function, motivating them to study natural disciplines and art. The criteria for selecting children to participate in STEAM-activities will depend on the goal, direction and time allocated for its implementation. For each of the activities, it is necessary to determine individual criteria for selecting children, the main of which will be motivation. Motivation for teenagers and cognitive interest for children of primary school age and preschoolers. Interest in knowledge will always be a motive for activity. The given project is aimed at motivating students to study their own history and culture. Knowing the historical heritage will allow you to understand the history of the people. A story that became the basis for poems and ballads performed by Ukrainian Cossacks. The main teaching tasks for the main natural sciences, which are intertwined with literature in particular and art in general, are defined. Among such directions: historical, cultural, economic, geographical, physical, biological, psychological, pedagogical. The main goal of the project is to understand the role of kobzarstvo in shaping the outlook of the Ukrainian people in different periods of its history.
