Abstract

The problem of totalitarianism in post-totalitarian states is the problem of balancing development and the attraction to the established past, that is, the reproduction of stereotypes. We propose a monitoring system that reveals such reproduction and regeneration. For Ukraine, this issue is relevant because of the fact that we are in martial law, which may further provoke a curtailment of democratic procedures. It is also relevant for Ukraine in the context of European integration.
