Abstract
Since competences are formed in the process of human activity, the organization of educational and cognitive activities is an integral element of the methodology of competence-oriented teaching of physics in gymnasium. Successful acquisition of competences depends on the content, proposed forms and methods of training. Let's consider in more detail the implementation of the developed methodology during the implementation of various types of activities in physics lessons, which, as practice shows, makes it possible to more effectively form key and subject competences: educational and practical conference, seminar, home experiments and observations, project method, solving tasks of applied character, etc.
