Abstract
The methodological support of the professional activity of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher in the scientific lyceum is analyzed. The content of the informational-methodical and scientific-practical modules in working with lexicographers was determined. Attention is focused on the theoretical-cognitive, practical-oriented (activity), innovative and creative stages of the development of a philologist teacher in the system of scientific and methodical work of the lyceum. Highly qualified methodical support ensures the development of the teacher's research competence.
