Abstract
The article examines the relevance of developing a structural-functional model for the development of research competence of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher at lyceum. It was found that the research is grounded by the request for a teacher-researcher and European integration processes. The role of a philologist teacher is actualized in accordance with the changes in the educational paradigm of Ukraine during the war, the tasks of organizing research-oriented education, forming research competence, and national self-awareness of education seekers. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and present the author’s structural-functional model of the development of research competence of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher at lyceum. Methods are study of psychological-pedagogical and scientific-methodological literature, regulatory and legal documents – to clarify the problem of the development of a model of the development of the research competence of a philologist teacher; analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization – to generalize theoretical foundations and practical experience regarding the investigated problem; pedagogical modeling – for developing a model of the development of the studied phenomenon and substantiating the content of each block of the model. Results: modern scientific research on the problem of creating a model of the professional development of a lexicographer was systematized, the definitions of the concepts "model", "modeling" were analyzed and clarified, the functional features of the model were determined, a structural-functional model of the development of the research competence of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher in the system of scientific research was presented – methodical work of the lyceum. Each of the blocks of the model was analyzed according to its structural and content content. Scientific approaches to the development of the research competence of a philologist teacher are substantiated, general and specific principles are defined, measures representing the research activity of a philologist teacher are classified. Conclusions are the proposed model of development of the studied competence takes into account the main trends of professional development of philology teachers of the lyceum as a senior specialized school. The scientific and methodical system of the lyceum can serve as a resource for the development of the research competence of the lexicographer. The forms, methods, means, technologies that allow to organize effective methodical work are determined.
