Abstract

The relevance of the ecological paradigm in polyparadigmatic education space is caused by the complexity of the global ecosystem and the needs of society for specialists with the ability to creatively solve problems, reconciliation of economic activity with a sustainable environment. The purpose of the study is to determine the contradictions that determine the introduction of the ecological paradigm into the educational process, its structure, approaches and principles to environmental education management. In the course of the theoretical and methodological research of the ecological paradigm in the educational process, the methods of theoretical (analysis and synthesis, idealization, abstraction, analogy, extrapolation, generalization, systematic approach, systematization) and empirical research (data analysis of literary sources) were used. The methods of theoretical and empirical research were used to understand the essence of the concept of "ecological paradigm", "ecological competence of the student of education"; study and generalization of their characteristics; generalization of the main trends in the training of specialists with higher education.
