Abstract
Methodical recommendations are devoted to the problem of introducing a model of multilingual education, which aims to form functional multilingualism in students of education as a factor of their personal effectiveness in the conditions of a multicultural society. The purpose of the recommendations is to provide methodological assistance to institutions of general secondary education in the process of organizing multilingual education, to promote the effectiveness of the process of implementing a modern model of multilingual education. The recommendations characterize the main stages of introducing the multilingual education model and propose methods of integrated language learning; the perspectives of the implementation of the model, risks that may arise in the process of its implementation and ways to overcome them are analyzed. Methodological recommendations are intended for scientists, representatives of the administration of institutions of general secondary education, teachers, students of pedagogical institutions of higher education, all those who are interested in the problem of multilingual education and participate in its implementation in Ukrainian institutions of general secondary education.
