Abstract

The article summarizes the analysis of theoretical and methodological aspects of justifying models of specialized education in the scientific direction with a technical-technological profile. A brief overview of studies by Ukrainian researchers is presented, and an analysis of educational programs is conducted using the example of the computer science courses for grades 5–9, highlighting their specifics. Based on the analysis of educational models and programs approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for implementation in general secondary education institutions, it is clarified that during the implementation of specialized education programs in the scientific direction with a technical-technological profile, the following models can be successfully applied: the «Rostok” model, the “Krok za krokom” model, the “Azimut” model, the model of Waldorf initiatives in Ukraine, and the “Intellect of Ukraine” model. The article also discusses the analysis of the experience of implementing specialized education in the scientific direction in the Republic of Austria. An analysis of Austria's regulatory framework reveals that the implementation of specialized education models in the scientific direction is determined by the general provisions of the main course of technical and technological subjects in primary and secondary education. It is found that educational programs in scientific education in Austrian schools have their specificity and take into account standards aimed at the development of students, primarily in the field of natural sciences and mathematics. The principles of constructing the content of teaching computer science in primary and secondary schools are highlighted. The types of institutions in Austria that focus specifically on scientific disciplines are described, including gymnasiums, schools with a scientific profile, schools preparing for technical professions, research-oriented schools, and scientificoriented boarding schools. It is determined that these models provide students with the opportunity to specialize in the field of sciences within the framework of secondary education in Austria.
