Abstract

Based on the considered trends in the development of the education system, we highlight the important professional and pedagogical skills of a psychology teacher: determine the level of personal development; set different pedagogical goals scale, taking into account the capabilities of the subject being studied; modify forms of educational activities, educational tasks and types of activities students taking into account the developmental tasks set; apply discussion forms of education, to show high culture, personal attractiveness, erudition in the presentation of the material, thereby supporting high authority of psychological knowledge, ideas, principles; apply humanitarian-oriented educational technologies, in which personal ones would be involved qualities and experience of the student; complicate forms of work that are cognitively problematic tasks and requirements for students, taking into account the development of their independence, creativity in the study of psychology. Today, modern society needs not narrow specialists - bearers of individual production functions, but comprehensively developed socially active individuals who have a fundamental scientific education, rich internal culture. Despite the fact that deep knowledge is necessary for any qualified specialist, professionally significant personal qualities are especially important for a teacher's pedagogical activity.
