Abstract
The method of teacher preparation for the implementation of the applied orientation of the basic physics course is aimed at acquiring knowledge about technical objects and technologies, ways of controlling the obtained information and consists in understanding the principles of mechanical devices, reproduction of educational material of an applied nature. The sources of relevant information are the teacher's story, visual aids (posters, tables, CDs, etc.), industrial plant models, physical and technical video films, industrial tours, scientific and technical and popular literature, computer tools, pedagogical software, tasks applied content. The formation of practical skills is carried out in stages - posing a problem, independently searching for its solution, substantiating the solution methods (algorithm, plan, project), finalizing and adjusting at school or at home. At the stage of posing the problem, the main role is given to the teacher, at the next stage, students mostly act by trial and error, except if they use a ready solution algorithm. The results are discussed in class under the guidance of the teacher. Students put forward ideas, accompany them with presentations. At the final stage, the teacher creates appropriate conditions for the implementation of the applied orientation of the educational material, conducts individual conversations, provides recommendations, comments, and makes clarifications.
