Abstract

Conflictological competence is formed in the process of acquiring knowledge about the content of conflicts and conflict relations. At the same time, the specified competence is not limited to the system of knowledge exclusively about conflicts, but involves an active influence on conflicts and their course. To do this, the teacher must acquire knowledge from social psychology, namely: knowledge about individual and typological characteristics of individuals, social groups and the interaction of their members, value-oriented unity of the group, leadership styles, group norms of behavior, role behavior, peculiarities of verbal and non-verbal communication. The teacher's conflictological competence is closely related to his psychological and pedagogical competence. He must be able to effectively use various psychological and pedagogical influences, to be able to independently conduct work with individuals with increased conflict. Conflict management competence also includes mastery of effective, non-violent communication techniques at both verbal and non-verbal levels.
