Abstract

Considering the pedagogical design of the educational process as a holistic process, the study traces its relationship with such structural components as forecasting, modeling, designing, and planning. Designing actively uses modeling as a method of studying objects of different nature on their analogs (models). The model allows you to operate with them, determine their stable essential properties, identify certain essential aspects of the objects being designed, phenomena and processes, and conduct a detailed logical analysis of them. The difference between a model and a project is the purpose of its creation. A model is created to study an object, research, transform, and manage it. A project, in turn, is aimed at creating this object and making it a reality. In the educational process, modeling acts as a method of forecasting and as an information model of the material being studied and can be included in the design activities of the teacher and act as an important part of the design of the educational process. A forecast, unlike a project, is probabilistic in nature. Based on predictive models, recommendations for optimizing the educational process can be developed. Design is the process of developing a project for a future object as one that does not yet exist, while forecasting assumes that a phenomenon or process already exists or that there are some prerequisites for its occurrence. Pedagogical design includes elements of forecasting and can be based on existing forecasts. Planning clarifies the goals of the project and includes planning the steps needed to achieve these goals by further identifying the specific activities and resources needed to implement the project. However, planning is only a small part of a teacher's design activity that is used at all stages, a form of fixing the project. In the process of designing, details and elements of the object to be designed are developed, and during the design, a system of interconnections of these elements is created, a project is developed and formalized. The essence of pedagogical design is not identical to the concepts of forecasting, modeling, designing, and planning, but it has common features with them, which allows using their methods to implement the project.
